Bryan Kimbrough Steel

Bryan Kimbrough Steel, 60, of Springdale, was born August 8, 1955 in Abilene, Texas to James and Virginia Williams Steel. He died Saturday, July 30, 2016 at Circle of Life Hospice. As a child Bryan lived in Texas and Caracas, Venezuela. As a young man he worked in Austin, Texas with the stage crew at the Armadillo World Headquarters music venue. After moving to Northwest Arkansas he attended the U of A and worked with Amnesty International. He later worked for the Peace at Home Shelter in Fayetteville. Bryan loved music, collected record albums, books and music memorabilia. He regularly attended live music performances in the area. Bryan was preceded in in death by his parents and his brother, John Protsman. He is survived by his sisters, Lisa Protsman of Santa Fe, New Mexico, Janet Bradley of Carrizozo, New Mexico; sister-in-law, Donna Protsman of Idalou, Texas; two nieces, two nephews; and many other relative and friends including his aunt, Betty Williams, of Springdale, with whom he lived.
