Rhonda Patricia Bowen Lee, age 52, of White Hall, died Saturday, August 6, 2016. Born October 28, 1963 at Minden, La., she was a daughter of Charles Audren Bowen and Patricia Mae McClellan Bowen. She graduated from Pine Bluff High School in 1981. Rhonda attended Williams Baptist College for two years, and then completed her Bachelor's degree with a major in journalism and a minor in marketing from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock in 1985. From 1985 until 1990, she worked at Arkansas Business Magazine and at Fairfield Bay Properties. She moved back to Pine Bluff in 1990, living in the Watson Chapel area prior to moving to White Hall in 2006. Watching her boys play sports, traveling, and quilting were her favorite hobbies. She was also a fantastic cook. Since 1991, Rhonda had been an active member of Watson Chapel Baptist Church. For many years, she sang in the choir, led AWANA groups, taught children and youth Sunday school, and served on various committees. In 1991, she became a full-time homemaker, and homeschooled her children until 2004. After obtaining a non-traditional teaching license, she taught fifth grade at Coleman Middle School until her illness. Her grandparents, Charles C. and Inez Bowen, and Ross and Leo Elizabeth McClellan predeceased her. In addition to her parents, survivors include her husband, Terry Allen Lee, whom she married on March 31, 1989 at Geyer Springs First Baptist Church; her children, Garrett James Lee, Nathan Allen Lee (fiancée Fallon Mauldin), and Andrew Stephen Lee; her siblings, Charles A. Bowen, Jr., Elizabeth Jackson, and Jeremy Bowen (Lisa); along with a host of friends. Funeral services will be Wednesday, August 10, 2016, 3:00 p.m. at Watson Chapel Baptist Church with Brother Todd Howard and Brother Steve Monk officiating. Interment will follow in Clement Cemetery in Grant County by Fuller Hale-South Funeral Services. Visitation will be Tuesday from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Watson Chapel Baptist Church.
