Glenn Elvis Cordes

Glenn E Cordes was born February 18, 1933 and departed this life on August 18, 2016. He was preceded in death by his mother and father Ben and Dora Cordes, brothers: Ollie, Virgil, Richard, Jerry and Clifford Cordes; sisters: Ruth Wright and Percy Burba. He was a long time truck driver with Jones Truck Lines. Since retirement he enjoyed the Elks Lodge, Camping and Four Wheeling. He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Shirley of the home; Son, Richard Cordes of Springdale; Daughters, Cheryl Vanzant and husband, Stephen of Lowell and Brenda Cordes of Springdale. Grandchildren, Sara Whorton and Stephanie Vanzant. Great-Grandchildren, Hanna, Halle, Lainey and Elyse and sister, Judy Otis. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Graveside service will be Tuesday August 23 ,2016 at 2pm at Sonora Cemetery with Pastor Clark Snow Officiating.
