Velma Lee Emery

Velma Lee Emery 83 of Springdale passed away Saturday August 20, 2016 at her home. She was born July 16, 1933 in Rule, Arkansas to the late William Albert and Dona Mae Miller Gage. She graduated from Kingston in 1953. She enjoyed word search, fishing, traveling and coloring. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by two sisters Dorthy Faye Hancock and Loretta Gage and two grandchildren Alisha Anne Emery and Lydia Jean Wolfe. She is survived by her husband James Emery; one son Curtis Ray Emery and wife Wendy of Springdale; one daughter Martha Jean Wolfe and husband Benny of Springdale; one sister Mary Jane Hathorn and husband Rev. James Hathorn of Springdale; four granddaughters and two great grandsons. Funeral service will be Wednesday, August 24, 2016, at 2pm at Sisco Funeral Chapel with Pastor C.H. Doss and Rev. Jeff Hutcheson officiating. Burial will follow in Benton County Memorial Park in Rogers. Visitation will be Tuesday, August 23, 2016, from 6-8 p.m. at Sisco Funeral Chapel.
