Robert Thomas Allen

Robert Thomas Allen, age 73, of Shirley, went home to his Lord, Tuesday, August 23, 2016. Mr. Allen was born June 27, 1943 in Little Rock, a son of the late Frank R. and Doris Allen. He was a fireman in Little Rock for thirty-seven years and retired as a captain. Mr. Allen was preceded in death by his parents, one brother, two sisters, and one grandson. Survivors include his son, Phillip Allen (Devonna) of Lonoke; granddaughter, Emilee Wiggins of Shirley; close friend, Donna Standridge of Cabot; brother, Charles Allen (Joetta) of Bryant; sisters, Rebecca Mullens of Little Rock and Patricia Cathcart (John) of Sheridan, as well as many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be 2 p.m., Friday, August 26, 2016 at Buie Funeral Home in Sheridan. Interment will follow at Corinth Cemetery in Sheridan.
