Bernie Joseph "Joey" Williamson

Bernie Joseph "Joey" Williamson, 58, of Cabot, died Tuesday, August 16, 2016. He was born April 5, 1958 in Shreveport, La., to Linwood Williamson and Shirley Carlene Chandler Williamson. He was member of Briarwood Baptist Church. Joey was a good dancer, enjoyed riding motorcycles, and was boisterous and full of life. He worked in construction and was very proud of having helped construct the Clinton Presidential Library. He was preceded in death by his mother. He is survived by his wife, Mary Williamson of Cabot; father, Linwood Williamson of Cabot; children; Megan Williamson and Laci Arum, both of Jacksonville; stepsons, Sean Allen of Jacksonville and Chad Neal of Ward; siblings, Tommy Williamson of Jacksonville, Linda Dziga of New Braunfels, Texas, and Katrina Brabec of Seward, Neb.; and four grandchildren, Danielle, Ava, Grayson, and Sophie. A memorial service will be Tuesday, September 13, 2016 at 6 p.m. at Briarwood Baptist Church in Cabot. Arrangements are under the direction of Moore's Cabot Funeral Home (501) 843-5816.
