Joy Ann Ferguson, age 73, of Bryant, went to be with the Lord Saturday, Dec. 3, 2016. She was born Sept. 15, 1943 in Little Rock, Ark. Mrs. Ferguson was a Pastor's wife and of the Baptist faith. She was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas and Laura Wilson; three brothers, Eugene, Clifford & Lloyd Wilson; three sisters, Hazel Swartz, Helen Carter & Wanda Coclasure; and a sister-in-law, Inez Wilson. She is survived by her husband, Rev. John Wayne Ferguson; son, Anthony Wayne Ferguson; two daughters, Kimberly Ann Ferguson and Susanne Lynette Ferguson Crook and husband Randy; brother, Horace Wilson; four sisters, Bonnie (Gleason) Bearden, Billie Jean (Sonny) Brock, Shirlene (James) Ferguson & Louise (Charles) Ferguson; four grandchildren, Clay (Jessica) Ferguson, Casey (Jayson) Krisell, Danielle (Jay) Bone & Mary Katherine (Jonathon) Lishbrook; and four great-grandchildren, John Clay Ferguson, Lily Bone, Isaac Lishbrook & Madison Lishbrook. Pallbearers will be James Ferguson, Allan Ferguson, David Ferguson, Charles Ferguson, Derrill Ferguson Jr. and Franklin Baker. Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Monday, Dec. 5 at Ashby Funeral Home. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 6 at Ashby Funeral Home with burial at Elmlawn Cemetery in Little Rock. The family would like to give a special thanks to Saline Memorial Hospice for their love and care of our beautiful wife, mother and granny.
