Kenneth William Richey

Kenneth William Richey, 88 of Springdale, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, Dec. 3, 2016. He was born July 23, 1928 in Siloam Springs, Ark., the son of William Henry and Beulah Barnes Richey. He had served in the United States Army during the Korean War. He was a member of the Old Missouri Road Baptist Church and had retired from the State of Arkansas as an Engineer and Surveyor. He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Dorthy Richey of the home; one son, Kenneth William Richey II and wife Stephanie; and one daughter, Diana Stout and husband Arthur, all of Lowell, Ark.; two brothers, Earl Wayne Richey and Ronald D. Richey; and one sister, Mary Ruth Jacobs, all of Siloam Springs, Ark.; six grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 12 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 7, 2016 in the Chapel of Memorial Funeral home, 3926 Willowood Ave. Springdale, Ark. 72762 with the Rev. David Dodson Officiating. Visitation will be held from 11 a.m. until service time. Burial will be in Wilson Cemetery in Springdale, under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home. Military honors will be provided by Rogers VFW post 3031.
