Hisako (Tamaki) Bland

Hisako (Tamaki) Bland, age 79, of Greenbrier, Arkansas died at 3 a.m., Tuesday, November 29, 2016 at home. She was born on March 20, 1937 in Hiro, Japan to Tadashi and Tomi (Nakamura) Tamaki. She married Lewis Bland on October 9, 1959 and he survives in Greenbrier, Arkansas. Also surviving are the following children: Peggy Schackleton, Greenbrier, Arkansas, Susan Magie, Fayetteville, Arkansas, Betty (Robert) Burns, Vienna, Virginia and James (Kity) Bland, Thailand. Also surviving are six grandchildren, Megan Walker, Texarkana, Arkansas, Mallory Magie, Fayetteville, Arkansas, Kyle and Josh Schlackleton, Greenbrier,Arkansas and Shelby and Alex Burns, Vienna, Virginia. She was a homemaker traveling the world with her husband as a career military family and truly loved her family. A graveside service will be held on Monday, December 5, 2016 at 11:30 a.m. at South Bend Cemetery, McCutchenville, Ohio with the Rev. Matt Garrabrant officiating. Visitation will be held on Monday, December 5, 2016 from 10-11 a.m. at the Walton-Moore Funeral Home, Sycamore, Ohio.
