Gordon Herrington

Gordon Herrington, 53, of Roland, Arkansas went home to be with the Lord early Thanksgiving morning, November 24, 2016 at his home. He was born August 10, 1963 in Hawthorne, California. He was a graduate of Bryant High School and Pulaski Technical College. Gordon spent 8 years in the Air Force serving our country. He was currently the Maintenance Director at Woodland Heights Retirement Center in Little Rock. Gordon was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, AC and Georgie Herrington of Louisiana; maternal grandparents, Johannes and Ella Nita of Germany. He is survived by his father, Finis George Herrington; mother, Edeltraut (Karin) Davenport; brother, Klaus Herrington; sister, Susan Meek; nieces, Shelley and Mallory Meek; a host of family and friends. Gordon loved everyone. He enjoyed pets, hunting and fishing. He always wore a big smile and was a friend to all. He will be greatly missed.
