Hazel Lawrence

Mrs. Hazel Lawrence formerly of Hickory Ridge, Arkansas, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Tuesday, December 13, 2016 at Unity Medical Center in Searcy, Arkansas; she was 101. Hazel was born in Cherry Valley, Arkansas, on March 11, 1915 to Eli Keller and Dove Gaskin Keller. She is preceded in death by her husband, Emmett Lawrence; two brothers, Eli Keller and N.B. Curtner Jr., and son-in-law, Ralph Myers Jr. Haze is survived by her daughter, Susie Myers, one grandson, Ralph Myers, III, numerous nieces and nephews, Aunt Nell Miller, her caregivers, Sis Clark and Ruby Brown and her beloved dog, Oscar. Graveside services will be held Thursday, December 15, 2016 at 10 a.m. at Lewis Cemetery in Hickory Ridge, Arkansas. In lieu of flowers the family request that memorials be made to the First Baptist Church of McCrory. Kernodle Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. www.kernodlefh.com.
