Opal L. Vinson

Opal L. Vinson, age 74, of Rison, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, December 18, 2016. Mrs. Vinson was born October 16, 1942 in Humphrey, Arkansas to the late Bernard and Nancy Edna Ball. She was a retired employee of Burlington Industries. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Vinson was preceded in death by two sisters, Shirley Smith and Carrollee Bell. She is survived by her husband, Bobby L. Vinson of Rison; one son, Mike Vinson of Memphis, Tennessee; two sisters, Lucille Rider of Hope, Doris Brennen of Louisiana; two grandchildren, Matthew Vinson and Olivia Vinson. Funeral services will be 11 a.m., Wednesday, December 21, 2016 at Buie Funeral Home in Rison with Brother Jackie Richardson officiating. Interment will follow at Prosperity Cemetery in Rison. There will be a visitation at the funeral home prior to the beginning of the service at 10 a.m. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Buie Funeral Home of Rison.
