Jesse Holmes Bell, son of Monty and Barbara Bell, died Saturday December 17, 2016 due to a tragic accident while hiking in the National Forest near Siloam Springs. Jesse was born May 6, 1976 in Fayetteville, Arkansas. He graduated from Springdale High School in 1994. Jesse moved to Denver Colorado in 1998, where he worked as Behavior Coach at Excelsior Cares School to provide education, outreach, and behavioral help to young people. Jesse received an Applied Science degree in Human Services from Community College of Denver, with certification for addiction treatment to individuals and he also worked with teachers in the classrooms. He recently returned to Arkansas and was currently working for UPS. Jesse enjoyed the outdoors and was an avid hiker. He enjoyed bicycling, running, snowboarding, and camping in Colorado's scenic parks. He loved to watch European and English Premier League soccer games as well as Formula 1 racing and Razorback football. But most of all Jesse loved being around his family. In addition to his parents, Jesse is survived by his wife Sonja and her daughter Shandrea of Denver, his daughter Zoe Bell of Towson, Md., brothers Chris Bell and his wife Missie of Springdale, and James Bell and his wife Shelli of Fayetteville, nephews Chad Bell and his wife Kathryn of Bentonville, Owen and Ellis Bell of Fayetteville, niece Courtney Bell and Chris Luman of Rogers, great-nephew Theo Bell, and great-nieces Zola Luman and Bryce Bell. In lieu of flowers, Jesse would have asked for donations to Children's or Senior Citizens charitable organizations. Memorial services will be 10 a.m., Saturday, December 24, 2016, at Wasson Memorial Chapel, Siloam Springs, Arkansas. To sign the online guestbook, visit www.wassonfuneralhome.com.
