Margaret Ruth Hendricksen

Margaret Ruth Sparkman Hendricksen Margaret was born December 24, 1929 in rural Dallas Texas passing away December 22, 2016 at the Circle of Life Hospice in Springdale Arkansas. She graduated from Sunset High (Dallas 1946) and was a member of the Epsilon Delta sorority at the University of Texas graduating in 1950. She became a flight attendant for Braniff Airline, later working as a Career Counselor for the State of Texas and taught special needs children in Houston before working 30 years beside her husband Bill. Her faith was the cornerstone of her life, active in the ministry of her churches in Houston and Conroe. She served as President of the local Women's AGLOW Fellowship and was active in the Full Gospel Businessman's Association. She was preceded in death by her parents, Clifton Eugene Sparkman and Gay Lavinia (Coates), first husband Ridell and her four siblings, Clifton, Norma, Richard and Elizabeth. She is survived by her husband, William (Bill), sons Stuart (Jane) and Jim, granddaughters, Sandra (Brian) and Valerie, grandchildren, Dylan, Layla and Charlie. Graveside funeral services will be at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, Dec 28, 2016 at the National Cemetery in Fayetteville Arkansas with Reverend Bill Prichard officiating, under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home, 3926 Willowood Ave. Springdale, Arkansas 72762.
