Stephen Edward Newman

Stephen Edward Newman went home to his Lord and Savior, Jesus on December 21, 2016. Steve was born August 5, 1943 to James and Dorthy Newman. Though a lifelong resident of Little Rock, he relocated to Beebe in 2014 to be closer to his grandchildren. He is preceded in death by both his parents. He is survived by his partner of 32 years, Evonne Newman; daughters Jennifer McMillan (Darrell) of Nevada, Joyce Beltran (Jessy) of Beebe; two grandchildren, Aaron and Sarah; two brothers, Donny Newman of Tennessee, James Newman of Van Buren; one sister Joyce Richardson (James) of Sherwood and four nephews. He also leaves behind many friends. He will be forever missed. Memorial service will be 11:00 a.m. Friday, December 30, 2016, at Smith-Westbrook Funeral Home, Beebe.
