Curtis Lee Thomas, 88, of Alexander, Arkansas received his wings on December 20, 2016. Curtis was born to the late Rev. JB Thomas and Para Lee McKinley of England, Ark. He was a faithful member of Sharon Missionary Baptist Church which he served as a deacon. He was united in holy matrimony to Alice Estella Crawford where they served 58 years of blessed marriage. At a young age he wanted to serve his country by joining the Navy. He was a very dedicated worker throughout his life. He was employed by Wilbert Vault, Reynolds Metal and later retired from Arkansas School Service as a state wide delivery driver and the Bryant School District. Preceded in death by his beautiful wife, Alice Estella Thomas; one son, Raymond C. Williams Sr.; 2 brothers, Fred McKinley and JB Thomas Jr.; two sisters, Ora Mae Jackson and Ester Veasey. He leaves to cherish memories: a loving and devoted granddaughter, Marie Williams; one dependable grandson, Raymond Charles Williams Jr.; one non-complaining great-grandson, Darrion Franklin of Alexander, Ark.; three beautiful sisters, Mary Lou Tucker of Little Rock, Ark.., Earlean Blanchard and Lou Williams of Chicago, Ill. as well as a host of other relatives and friends. Home going services will be Saturday, December 31, 2016, 11 a.m., at Sharon Missionary Baptist Church, 300 Cedar Street, Alexander, Ark. Interment will follow at Pinecrest Memorial Park, Alexander, Ark. Family visitation: Friday, December 30, 2016, 6-7 p.m., at Sharon Missionary Baptist Church.
