David Lowell Guenther Jr.

David Lowell Guenther Jr., 66, of Roland, passed away December 29,2016. He was born March 15, 1950 in Little rock, AR to David Lowell Guenther, Sr. and Thresa Marshall Guenther. He was a maintenance supervisor who worked at St. Vincent's Infirmary for 38 years until he retired. He is preceded in death by his friend and brother, Mike Guenther. David is survived by his parents; his daughter, Shanna Rowlett (Dr. Chris Rowlett), grandsons, Christopher and Cole; sisters, Dot Bonner and Diana Miller (Robert Miller); brother, Mark Guenther (Trisha Guenther) and his sister-in-law, Shirley Guenther. David "Davy" Guenther, Jr. was known as a kind, hardworking man who was always happy to lend a hand (or tool or lawnmower). He loved working outside on projects, usually involving rocks. But the thing that made him happiest was time spent with his grandsons. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
