Robert Allen Keltner

Robert Allen Keltner, 42, passed away on January 27, 2016 in San Diego, California after a long fought battle with cancer. Robert joined the Navy in 1991 and relocated from Little Rock to San Diego where he met and married his dear wife Esther. After twenty years of honorable service he retired from the Navy as an Electronics Warfare Specialist, and continued to work for the Department of Defense  as a hazardous materials instructor at Marine Corps Base Camp Pendleton in Oceanside, Calif. Robert cherished every moment of his life here on Earth, blessing everyone around him with his good-natured humor. As his daughter, Annamaria said, "Daddy, you made every minute count." Robert was a beloved son, husband, father, brother and uncle. He is survived by his wife of seventeen years Esther of San Diego and his two girls, Annamaria (14) and Olivia (12); they were the center of his life.  He is also survived by his mother, Linda Sue Isom, his brothers, Roy and Colby, his grandmother, Shirley Anderson, his stepfather, Albert Isom and stepbrothers, Bobby and Ronny Isom, and many nieces and nephews. Robert was predeceased by his father, Billy Arthur Keltner. A funeral mass will take place at San Rafael Catholic Church  in San Diego on February 11, 2016 at 10 a.m., interment to follow at Miramar National Cemetery.
