Kitty Anne Boyce of Springdale, AR made her passage to heaven on February 8, 2016. Kitty is survived by the love of her life, husband John Boyce, her daughter Belinda Musgrave of Tontitown, Ark., and granddaughter Kalli Anne Musgrave of College Station, Texas. Kitty was preceded in death by her loving parents, Hall Hamilton Logan and Kitty Anne Logan. Kitty Anne was born in Cincinnati, Ohio but lived most of her life in Texas. She was an adventurous woman who broke barriers. She was a marksman, winning many shooting medals. She was once filmed for her trick riding skills. This led to her hand being crushed when the bright lights spooked the horse as she hung underneath. She won many cooking awards and was known for her epicurean skills. She attended Texas Tech University her freshman year before transferring to TCU. She obtained a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry degree. Upon graduation, she worked for Armour & Company in Ft. Worth, Texas. Kitty Anne was a member of Chapter K, P.E.O. She was active in the community. She has served as a board member of the Washington County Humane Society and has volunteered at the Springdale Memorial Hospital as a laboratory courier. Kitty Anne was dedicated to her family and was a kind and loving wife, mother and Mimo (grandmother). Her family is filled with wonderful adventures and stories of how their life is enriched. Funeral service will be Friday February 12, 2016, 1 p.m at St. Paul's Episcopal Church, 224 N. East Ave., Fayetteville, Ark. Due to Kitty's love of animals, in lieu of flowers, we are asking for memorials to be made to Lester C. Howick Animal Shelter of Washington County, 801 W. Clydesdale Dr., Fayetteville, Ark. 72701.
