Dan Kemp Nall, of Sheridan, Arkansas, was born February 28, 1951, the son of the late Dan and Muriel Slaughter Nall. Raised in his beloved Grant County, he has remained a resident for his entire life. Kemp died Sunday, February 14, 2016 at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences hospital at the age of 64. Kemp graduated from Sheridan High School and attended the University of Arkansas. He served Grant County in one position or another, most of his adult life. He was in his 10th term as Grant County Judge and had served on the Quorum Court prior to that for 20 years. Throughout the years, Kemp was a member of the Jaycees, the Sheridan Rotary Club, the Grant County Democrat Committee, the Arkansas County Judge's Association, and many other committees and organizations. He was also a member of the First United Methodist Church in Sheridan. Kemp was a dedicated Razorback fan. Kemp was preceded in death by a daughter, Megan Mankin. His survivors include his wife, Denice Nall, of Sheridan; Son, Bryce Nall (Jennifer) of Little Rock; daughters, Jenny Nall Manning of Bryant, Amanda Mankin Mitchell of Sheridan, Alison Mankin of Watson; grandchildren, Lillian Nall and Kinley Morrow; Morgan Manning; Emma and Caroline Mitchell and Clint Mankin-Hare; sisters, Dian Nall Taylor (Tommy) of Arab, Alabama; Susan Nall Perry of Guntersville, Alabama; and many other family, along with nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Grant County Museum, 521 Shackleford Road, Sheridan, Arkansas 72150; or First United Methodist Church of Sheridan, P.O. Box 357, Sheridan, Arkansas 72150. Funeral services will be Thursday, February 18, 2016, 2PM at First United Methodist Church of Sheridan with Reverend John Embrey officiating. Burial will follow at Lost Creek Cemetery. Visitation: Wednesday, 5-8PM at Memorial Gardens Funeral Home. Pallbearers are Trent Allen, Justin Allen, Chris Dixon, Lance Huey, Lang Wells, Randy Pruitt, David Wells, Larry Allen, Joe Wise, Lynn Camp, Rick Balwanz, Dee Tucker, Rick Brewer and Danny Bone.
