Joseph "Joe" Trollinger

Joseph "Joe" Trollinger entered eternal life on January 6, 2016. He was born on June 1, 1927 to parents Lydia and Calvin Sr. Trollinger. After growing up in Fayetteville, Joe served his country honorably as a Merchant Marine, where he was stationed in the Pacific on the USS Crater Lake. Following WWII, he moved back to NW Arkansas, where he met his wife, Wilma, and started a career driving trucks. After retiring from Jones Truck Line in 1987 he became partners in BOJO which businesses included a gas station, parking lot sweeper and rental houses. Joe's pride and joy were his three daughters, Glenda Easterling, Judy Trollinger, and Lisa Jo Sisemore. His loves were his church, the Razorbacks, politics and talking to friends and strangers alike. Joe is preceded in death by his parents and daughters Glenda Easterling and Judy Trollinger. He is survived by his wife, Wilma; daughter, Lisa Sisemore; grandchildren, Steve Easterling, Brad Easterling, Jason Sisemore, Josh Sisemore and Jana Sisemore; and great-grandchildren, Brooklyn Sisemore and Asher Sisemore. Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Monday, January 11, at Robinson Avenue Church of Christ. Interment will be at Friendship Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday at Heritage Funeral Home, online guest book at www.heritageofnwa.com. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Circle of Life Hospice, 901 Jones Road, Springdale, Ark. 72762.
