Kathleen Riggan Crowder

Kathleen Mildred Riggan Crowder of Sheridan, Arkansas was born May 11, 1922 in Ivy, Arkansas, the daughter of the late Jesse Edward and Leila Pannill Riggan. She was a member of First Landmark Baptist Church in Sheridan. She enjoyed gardening and cooking for her family and friends. Mrs. Crowder died Friday, January 22, 2016 at Cavalier Healthcare in England at the age of 93. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Roy G. Crowder; daughter, Linda Kervin; brothers, George H. Riggan, Murl Riggan and Quinton Riggan and a sister, Jeroline Johnson. Survivors: sons, Roy Kaylan Crowder and wife Norma of England; Ronald Edward Crowder and wife Mary of Bryant; son-in-law, Billy Kervin of Sheridan; four grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews and friends. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, January 27, 2016 at Memorial Gardens Funeral Home in Sheridan with Bro. John Brown officiating. Burial will follow at Hopewell Cemetery in Carthage. Visitation will be prior to the service from 10 a.m. until service time. Pallbearers are Bo Kervin, Kevin Crowder, Caleb Crowder, Steven Jordan, Billy Kervin, Bob Howell, Danny Riggan, and James Johnson.
