Robert Lee Powers

Robert L. "Bob" Powers, 68 of Mabelvale, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Thursday, July 7, 2016. He was born July 4, 1948 in Clinton, Tennessee to Jim and Ruby Powers. He is preceded in death by his son, Marcus Powers, and his brother, Roger Powers. He is survived by his wife, Tressea Deane Powers; his parents, Jim and Ruby Powers of Clinton, Tenn; his children, Robert "Bobby" Powers Jr., Melissa Vest Powers, and Scott Vest Powers; eight grandchildren; one great-grandchild; three brothers; a host of nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends. He also leaves behind a special best friend, his dog, Lilly. Visitation will be held Monday, July 11, 2016 at Chicot Road Baptist Church at 12:30 p.m. Funeral service will begin at 1:30 p.m. Burial will follow at Rest Hills Memorial Park in North Little Rock, Ark.
