Kathryn Nordstrom

Kathryn Nordstrom, age 93, of Springdale, Ark., passed away Sunday July 3, 2016 surrounded by her family. Kathryn was born March 18, 1923 in Lynbrook, N.Y. to Walter and Frieda Darmstadt. She was preceded in death by her husband, Sven Nordstrom. Kathryn is survived by two daughters, Christine Ryan of Fayetteville, Ark., and Kate Nordstrom of Alna, Maine; one son, John Nordstrom of Rockport, Mass.; one sister, Helene Race of Edisto Beach, S.C.; three grandchildren, Jeremy Schulz, Tamara Ryan and Danielle Robins; three great grandchildren, Olivia, Aiden and Anna-Rose. Kathryn (Kay) was a warm and caring person who expressed a genuine interest in people. We will all miss her. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Moore's Chapel in Fayetteville.
