Waymon Doylan King, age 76, of Alexander passed away Wednesday, July 6, 2016. He was born on February 2, 1940 in Traskwood, Ark. to the late Leamon King and Hettie Kelly King. He was a Veteran of the United States Marine Corps and worked most of his life as an insurance salesman. He was a loving father and grandfather. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Bonita Schmidt and his brothers, Bobby, Norman, and Billy King. Survivors include one son, Jeff King of Little Rock; one daughter, Kelley Wray and her husband Alan Wray of Maumelle; one granddaughter, Alexis Wray; one sister, Donna Whitfield, of Carlsbad, New Mexico, and two brothers, Olan King and wife Kathy and Rolan King and wife Donna all of Benton. A memorial service is scheduled for 11 a.m. Monday, July 18, 2016 in the chapel of Roller-Ballard Funeral Home in Benton (501-315-4047) with Dr. Terry Parrish officiating. Family visitation will be one hour prior to the service, beginning at 10 a.m. Military Honor Guard will be provided by the United States Marine Corps.
