Maude Marie Aymond Ezell, age 98, of Perryville, Arkansas, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, July 12, 2016. She was born June 13, 1918 in Hastings, Nebraska, a daughter of Harrison Aymond and Irene Gormon Aymond. She was the widow of Charles Augustus Ezell and an active member of First Baptist Church in Perryville for over 60 years. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend. She was never hesitatant to offer a helping hand to anyone in need and had a true servant's heart. She taught her children the importance of loving the Lord and was a living example in her everyday life. She was a graduate of Central Baptist College and during her life she served as a teacher, basketball coach, mail carrier, and retired as a social worker for the Department of Human Services. She is survived by her sons, Charles (Jeris) Ezell of Perryville and Larry (Beckye) Ezell of Conway; daughter, Jan (Bill) Jordan of Perryville; grandchildren, Brandi Jones, Brooke Seago, Brad Jordan, Kelsey Ezell, Jessica Stewart, Heather Owens, Heidi Henige, Brittany Davis, and Landon Ezell; and 16 great-grandchildren. Other than her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her sister, Mary High. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Saturday, July 16th at First Baptist Church in Perryville with Bro. Gene Tanner and Bro. Phillip Dunn officiating. Burial will be at Thornburg Cemetery by Harris Funeral Home of Perryville. The family will receive friends one hour prior to service, at the church.
