Lyle Goodner Lewis

Lyle Goodner Lewis, 46, of Tulsa, Okla. and Sherwood, Ark, died May 29, 2016 at his Tulsa residence. He was born September 15, 1969 in Little Rock, Ark. to Harrell and Oleta Goodner Lewis. His family moved to Cabot, Ark. in 1978 where he entered Cabot schools in the 4th grade. He graduated from Cabot High School in 1987 and attended Arkansas State University Beebe. He received his degree in Geology from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock. He was currently enrolled in his last class before receiving his Masters Degree from the University of Central Arkansas in Conway. Lyle was employed as a Senior Operations Geologist with PetroQuest Oil and Gas Development Company in Tulsa. Like most of his family, he was a lover of animals and would find homes and relocate those he could not keep. He never turned away a stray animal. He is survived by his wife, Georgia, of the home; stepson, Huston Reagan III of Conway; parents, Harrell and Oleta Goodner Lewis; sister, Erin Lewis of Maumelle; brother, Ryan Lewis and wife Becki; and two nephews, Hunter and Hayden Lewis, all of El Paso, Ark.; and his beloved dogs. The family will not have a service at this time. Burial will be in Waldron, Ark., where his grandparents, Orval and Effie Taylor Goodner are buried.
