Harry Loyd Grider

Harry Loyd Grider, age 83, of Warren, Ark., died Friday, June 3, at his home. Born Oct. 28, 1932, in Sumpter, Ark., a son of the late Earl Grider and Elun Beasley Grider, he was one of a set of triplets. Loyd was retired from Potlatch Corporation with 42 years of service as a millwright, carpenter and crane operator. He was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War, a fisherman, member of First Baptist Church and the widower of Janice Taylor Grider who died Nov. 10, 2009. They were united in marriage July 10, 1959. Also preceding him in death were brothers, Thomas Grider, Dick Grider, Joe Mack Grider, Bill Grider; sisters, Margie Baker, Bobbie Jo Doss and an infant sister. Survivors are three sons, Terry Grider, White Hall, Ark., Gary Grider and spouse Beverly and John David Grider, all of Warren, Ark., four grandchildren. Funeral service 2 p.m. Monday, June 6, at Frazer's Chapel. Burial in Pattsville Cemetery by Frazer's Funeral Home. Visitation 6-8 p.m. Sunday, June 5, at Frazer's.
