John David Fauntleroy Jr.

JOHN DAVID FAUNTLEROY JR., age 82, of Mabelvale passed away Thursday, June 2, 2016. He was born on Jan. 26, 1934 in Bush, La., to the late John David and Clara Fauntleroy. John was a veteran of the Korean War and retired from AP&L/Entergy Arkansas. John was a member of South Highland Baptist Church and loved to work on all types of projects. He could build and fix just about anything. He loved people and was always willing to help someone in need. John is survived by his wife Ruth Ann Fauntleroy; one daughter, Judy Ann Belford (Jack); sister, Mary Loyd (Jack) and many family members in Arkansas and Louisiana. He also leaves brother-in-laws, cousins, nieces, nephews and many, many friends. A visitation will be held Monday, June 6, 2016, at noon lasting until service time at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Griffin Leggett Forest Hills Funeral Home, 10200 Arkansas 5 North, Alexander, Ark.
