Samantha Barbara Wender, 33, of Farmington passed away Thursday, June 16, 2016. She was born August 1, 1982 in Chicago, Illinois to Andrè and Mary Lou Kusche Wender. Samantha loved to cook; she enjoyed gardening, playing the piano, playing the clarinet and she loved animals very much. Samantha was very good at sewing. She earned a Bachelors in French while minoring in music, theology and philosophy. She was a Girl Scout Gold Award Winner. She graduated Cum Summa Cume Laude from Rockhurst University in Kansas City, Missouri. She was a 2000 graduate of Springdale High School. She was preceded in death by her Father, Andrè Wender; grandfathers, Herbert Kusche and Conrad Zimmerman. Survivors include her mother, Mary Lou Wender of Springdale; her boyfriend, Gregory Furr of Farmington; her grandmothers, Waltraud Marie Kusche of Springdale and Helena Zimmerman of Chicago; uncles, Ben Kusche of Anchorage, Alaska and Ralph Kusche of Troy Illinois, Gerhard Kusche of Springdale and Herbert Kusche of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma and numerous nieces and nephews. Mass of Christian Burial will be Tuesday, June 21, 2016 at 10 a.m. At St. Raphael's Catholic Church with Rev. Juan Guido officiating. Visitation will be Monday, June 20, 2016 from 6 to 7 p.m. with a vigil to be prayed at 7 p.m. at Sisco Funeral Chapel. Memorials may be made to the Lester C.
