Billy Charles "Bill" Caldwell

Billy Charles "Bill" Caldwell, 87, of Springdale, died Thursday, June 16, 2016. He was born Sept. 11, 1928 in Black Oak, Ark., to Radie Herschell and Mary Ellen Thomas Caldwell. Bill was a truck driver, mechanic and when he retired operated Caldwell Lawn Mowing Service until he was 82 years old. He was a member of Friendship Baptist Church, was devoted to his family and loved time with his grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Sharon Jolley; two sons, Ted Caldwell and Luke Caldwell; and four brothers. He is survived by his wife, Ann (Miller) Caldwell; four children, Debroah Speer and husband Bill of Santa Clarita, California, Quentin Caldwell of Fayetteville, Karen Scott and husband Mark of Gravette, Brenda Lee and husband Chris of Cave Springs; sister, Patsa Ragsdale of Jonesboro; 11 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, and three great-great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Monday, June 20, at Friendship Baptist Church. Interment will be at Cave Springs Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2-4 p.m. Sunday at Heritage Funeral Home.
