Harold Hardy Griffis

Harold Hardy Griffis, age 87, of Eudora, died Sunday, June 26, 2016, at West Carroll Memorial Care Center in Oak Grove, Louisiana. He was born February 22, 1929 in Eudora, Arkansas to the late Hardy Alexander Griffis and Lucille Pankey Griffis. Mr. Griffis was a farmer and a member of Omega Baptist Church in Eudora, Arkansas. He is preceded in death by his wife, Hilda Green Griffis, a son, Eddie Griffis, and a sister, Faye Nell White. Survivors are a son, Johnny Griffis of Eudora; three daughters, Marla Ainsworth and her husband, Jerry, of Kilbourne, Louisiana, Harolyn Keith of Lake Village, and Mickey Clark and her husband, Reagan, of Lake Village; a brother, Carroll Griffis, of Eudora; 9 grandchildren; Josh, Stan, Mary Beth, Madison, Ashley, Alecia, Abby, Lindsey, and Aaron; 14 great-grandchildren. Visitation will be Tuesday, June 28, 2016 from 6-8 p.m. at Bishop-King Funeral Home of Lake Village. Funeral services will be Wednesday, June 29, 2016 at 10 a.m. at Omega Baptist Church in Eudora. Bro. Travis White will be officiating. Burial will be at Kilbourne Cemetery under the direction of Bishop-King Funeral Home of Lake Village.
