Lavelle McKnight of Clinton Arkansas passed away June 27, 2016 in Conway, Arkansas. She was born September 21, 1930 at Morganton, Arkansas to the late Clay and Faye Tomlinson. Lavelle was a loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She worked at Clinton State Bank for 28 years and was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Clinton. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband of over 65 years, Thomas "Bud" McKnight. Those left to treasure her memory are her son, Steven Thomas McKnight and wife Judy, four grandchildren; Neil Thomas McKnight (Lauren), Anna Beth McKnight, Anthony Goodman, Jonathan Goodman, two great-grandsons; Jack McKnight and Jude McKnight, one sister, Jean Wright and husband Leon of Woodlands Texas, and Karen McKnight mother of her grandchildren. She will forever be remembered by her devoted friends and family who were blessed to know her. Lavelle loved listening to music, playing cards, traveling, laughing, and having fun with family and friends. She touched the lives of many people with her humor and generosity. Visitation is from 6-8 p.m. on Wednesday, June 29, 2016 at the Roller-McNutt Funeral Home Chapel in Clinton. Funeral services are at 2 p.m. on Thursday, June 30, 2016 at the United Methodist Church in Clinton, Arkansas. Interment will follow at Harden Cemetery in Bee Branch.
