John Robert Little Jr.

John Robert Little Jr., age 76, of Redfield, died Wednesday, June 29, 2016. Born June 26, 1940 at Little Rock, he was a son of the late John Robert Little, Sr. and Ida Belle Moore Little. He was reared and educated at Little Rock and graduated from T. J. Raney High School in 1958. He worked as an equipment mechanic at the Pine Bluff Arsenal, retiring in 2007 after 28 years of service. Mr. Little attended Family Church-Redfield Campus, and enjoyed hunting, fishing, and flying R.C. Airplanes. He was preceded in death by his wife, Wanda Sue Oates Little on December 29, 2009; and his siblings, Larry Little, Jimmy Little, and Marilyn Hughes. Survivors include his children, John Robert Little, III (Sandy) and Jami Lee Travis (Nathan); and grandchildren, Baxley, Blaise, and Baelin Travis. Funeral services will be Friday, July 1, 2016, 2:30 p.m. at Family Church-Redfield Campus, 721 Sheridan Road, with Brother Dan McDonald officiating. Interment will follow in Redfield Cemetery by Fuller Hale-South Funeral Services of Pine Bluff. Visitation will be Thursday, 6-8 p.m. at the church.
