David Hayre, age 55, of Winslow passed away Friday February 26, 2016 in Fayetteville. He was born August 29, 1960 in Fayetteville to William and Bessie Henson Hayre. He had a heart for others. May be gone but never forgotten. David attended West Fork and Winslow schools. He was a Baptist, loved camping, boating and motorcycles. He loved rock and roll music, watching movies and spending time with his children and grandchildren, they were his life. He worked at Allen Canning Company as a maintenance supervisor for eight years. He was a very loving person and was always doing for others. When he was younger he served in the US Army stationed at Fort Jackson, South Carolina and Fort Gordon in Georgia. He worked at Tysons Fayetteville complex as a boiler technician for 10 years. He was preceded in death by his parents. He is surivived by his wife Tammie; two daughters, Heather Hayre of Bentoville; Melissa Hayre of Bentonville; two sisters, Donna Drain Hayre of Tulsa, Oklahoma; Barbara Anne Kyger of Elkins, Arkansas; three grandchildren, Aurora Dawn Hayre age 15, Caleb Hasley age 9 and Chase Horten 6 years old. Visitation will be 5 p.m. – 7 p.m. Tuesday March 1, 2016 at Nelson-Berna Funeral Home. Funeral service will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at the Sunset Church with burial to follow in Sunset Cemetery under the direction of Nelson-Berna Funeral Home.
