Nathan Craig Nattin of Sheridan, Arkansas was born February 22, 1965 in Mansfield, Louisiana, the son of John Hall Nattin and the late Neita Dickerson Nattin. He was a foreman for Stephens Ranch in Prattsville for 8 years. He was constantly working on his farm, making spurs, rebuilding fences and barns, tending to his horses and many other animals. He enjoyed playing the guitar, fixing cars with his dad, team pinning, roping, and hunting. He was a kind hearted dad who wanted the best for his son, Cain. Craig was a graduate of Sheridan High School, the Oklahoma Horseshoe School, and was employed by Union Pacific Railroad. He was a member of First Baptist Church in Sheridan, Masonic Lodge #260, and the Quarter Horse Association. Craig died Monday, February 29, 2016 in Sheridan as a result of an automobile accident. Survivors: son, Cain Nattin of Sheridan; father, John Hall Nattin of Sheridan; brother, Johnny Nattin of Sheridan; sister, Rene Nattin Belt and husband Jim of Shreveport, La.; mother of his child, Penny Harrington of Sheridan; niece, Maddie Belt of Shreveport, La.; nephews, Colton Nattin of Sheridan and Henry Belt of Shreveport, La.; aunts, Julia Dickerson of Mansfield, La., and Claire Acklin of Haynesville, La.; and a host of cousins and friends. Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Thursday, March 3, 2016 at Memorial Gardens Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Danny Hill and Bro. Shane Harrington officiating. Burial will follow at New Hope Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday from 5 until 8 p.m. at the funeral home. Pallbearers are Wayne Hitt, Lane Lankford, David Fitzgerald, Rodney Lucas, David Moring, Mark Allen, Keith Koon and Jeff Hicks.
