Thomas Eli McCosh, 80, of Pangburn, Arkansas went to be with the Lord March 18, 2016 after a long battle with COPD. He was born September 17, 1935 to the late Seb and Maudie McCosh. He was also preceded in death by his sister, Emogene Moore; brothers, Hershel, Bill, Clayton and Shorty McCosh; nephew, Micah McCosh and granddaughter, Sabrina Street. Tom joined the Army July 28, 1954 and served his country for 13 years. He served several years in Germany and Korea. While in Germany he diffused bombs that were dropped during the Second World War that did not explode. Tom loved serving in the Army and loved telling stories of his adventures. After being honorably discharged from the Army Tom became a carpenter building and remodeling many homes. He mostly worked with his brothers and son. He loved his family and enjoyed working with them. Tom was a Christian and was saved and baptized in 2006. We are looking forward to the day we see him again. He will be forever missed. Go rest high on the mountain my beloved. Your work on earth is done. He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Marie McCosh; four children, Mark McCosh of Baxter Springs, Kansas, Nancy Street of Chetopa, Kansas, Betty Medler of Kensett and Barbara Watson of Albion, Arkansas; two brothers, Harry McCosh of Victoria, Texas and Eddy Ray McCosh of Pangburn also many grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
