Jennifer Jo Merritt, 36, of Springdale passed away March 15, 2016 in Springdale. Jennifer was born 17 February, 1980. She left this world on 15 March, 2016 to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. She struggled with not knowing who the biological parents were. Jennifer was adopted into the Phil Merritt family at the young age of eight months. She now knows the answers too many questions she had and is now spending the rest of eternity away from physical pain as well as mental anguish. She was loved by all and will be remembered for as long as those who know her are around. She was determined to raise her daughter, with all the things she never knew, due mostly from her childhood. She asked me several times, the only dad that she knew, if I would take care of Taylor if and when her time ended. I assured her that Taylor would be in good hands with her family and God. I think God for all the good times as well as the not so good times that we shared with Jennifer. Jennifer was spiritual born again. I thank God most of all for this as her and our salvation is all that matters for without Jesus life is nothing but vanity. And with Jesus life is so meaningful. Jennifer we love you and miss you much. Your spirit will always be with us until we meet again in Gods heavenly place. Jennifer is leaving behind a daughter, Taylor Nicole Martinez Merritt who was everything to her; Taylor's father, Bob Martinez both of the home. Her dad Phil M. Merritt of Rogers; her grandmother, Joyce Spotts; her brother, Jason Merritt and wife Monica; aunt, Susan O'Dell Merritt; uncles, Allan and wife Barbara, Steve and Joe Merritt and wife Jerri. Memorial service 2 p.m. Tuesday; March 22, 2016 at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church in Rogers. Arrangements by Benton County Funeral Home, 306 N. 4th, Rogers.
