VIVIAN "JO" RETZLOFF MAGEE of Little Rock died April 28, 2016. A native of Little Rock, she was born June 29, 1952 to the late Howard Carl and Ilo Mae (Lambert) Retzloff. Jo was a graduate of Hall High School and followed her father's footsteps in the advertising agency business. She left Mangan, Raines, Ginnaven, Holcomb to begin her family with Bob. While a mother and community volunteer she developed her lifelong passion as a pastel artist, with artworks displayed at The Butler Center and sold nationwide. A lifelong Episcopalian, she was a Retreat Singer. She graduated from Education for Ministry and coordinated the Catechesis of the Good Shepard Program for youth at St. Michael's Episcopal Church. Her community involvement included volunteering with the Junior League of Little Rock, Florence Crittenton Home and Easter Seals Arkansas. As a Faulkner County Master Gardener, she furthered her second passion of teaching others about the beauty and importance of plants in our environment. Jo is survived by her husband of 35 years, Robert C. Magee Sr.; their children, Laura Kathryn Moore (Richard), Bobby Magee and Pattie Weed; as well as her brother, Rand Retzloff (Beth) and grandchildren Parker and Nile Moore, all of Little Rock. Bob's mother, Barbara Magee, who Jo called Mom, is living in Florida. Her brother Richard Retzloff preceded her in death as well as her parents. A celebration of her life will be held 2 p.m., Mon., May 2, 2016 at St. Michael's Episcopal Church, 12415 Cantrell Road, Little Rock, Ark. 72223. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Easter Seals Arkansas or St. Michael's Episcopal Church.
