Willie Ray Threet

Willie Ray Threet was born Oct. 16, 1936. He was called home to be with the Lord on May 1, 2016. He was preceded in death by his mother and father, Elizabeth and Page Threet; five brothers and three sisters. He was the youngest of 11 children. He leaves one son, Erik Threet (Brigitte); one sister, Dorean Newsum; one brother, Valda Gene Threet; four grandchildren, Erik II, Evan, Eden and Ethan Threet, a host of cousins, nieces, nephews and friends. He was a loving brother, father, grandfather, uncle, cousin and friend. Willie Ray will be truly missed. Graveside service will be Friday, May 6th, 12 noon, at the Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery, 1501 West Maryland Avenue, Sherwood, Arkansas 72120. Repast at Pilgrim Rest Baptist Church, 3801 Springer Blvd., Little Rock 72202 at 1 p.m. Services are entrusted to Ruffin & Jarrett Funeral Home, 1200 Chester Street, Little Rock (501) 372-1305.
