Glen Davide Hopkins

Glen Davide Hopkins, 59 of Bearden went home to be with Jesus on Monday, May 9, 2016. He was born March 13, 1957 in Camden. Glen was of the Baptist faith and loved his family dearly. He was an avid hunter and fisherman, and especially enjoyed spending time with his great-granddaughter, Kambria. He was preceded in death by his father, Norman Hopkins and his granddaughter in love, Candace Quarles. Survivors include his wife Rose Hopkins; his mother, Mittie Grace Hopkins of Bearden; two daughters, Angela Hopkins of Bearden, and Mittie Owens and her husband Alton of Parkers Chapel; his son, Shawn Crouse of Benton; his grandson Brent Hopkins and great-granddaughter, Kambria Hopkins, both of Bearden. Survivors also include his brother Bennett Hopkins and his wife Teresa of Camden; two sisters, Maria Evans and her husband Donnie of Fordyce, and Debbie Harcrow of Camden. Survivors also include many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Visitation will be held Wednesday from 6-8 p.m. at Benton Funeral Home in Bearden. Funeral services will be held Thursday at 2 p.m. at Benton Funeral Home in Fordyce with Brother Chris Morgan and Brother Dave King officiating.
