James Allen Plumlee, 80, of Mabelvale, went to be with the Lord on May 24, 2016 with his family by his side. He was born June 29, 1935 to Robert Plumlee and Ila Rupert Plumlee in Kilgore, Texas. James has fought the good fight of faith and received the Crown of Life. He loved motorcycles, camping, outdoors, gardening, old western movies, could build anything he set his mind to, loved his family and was a member of Word Aflame Fellowship. He was preceded in death by his parents; son, John Mark Plumlee and two sisters, Marie and Twyla. Survived by his loving wife of 58 years, Judy Plumlee; two sons, Roger Plumlee (Brenda) and Printer Plumlee (Ember); daughter, Dana Plumlee; nine grandchildren, Melissa (John), Seth, Leland (Jasmine), Allen, Nathanael (Allison), Quinten, Joshua, Zachary (Jessica) and Zane (Kyly); four great-grandchildren; brother, Printer; sister, Carol; nieces, Mickey, Tracy and Twyla and a host of family and friends who all loved him and will miss him dearly. Celebration of life will be Saturday, May 28, 10 a.m. at Word Aflame Fellowship. Visitation will be held on Friday night from 5-7 p.m. at Dial and Dudley Funeral Home in Bryant.
