Harold Metz

Harold Metz, 88, of London, died Wednesday, May 25, 2016 in Russellville. The son of James and Phoebe Carpenter Metz, he was born July 4, 1927 in London, Ark. He was a United States Army Veteran of World War II and served in the Army of Occupation in Germany. Harold worked for 22 years as the parts manager with Ford Motor Company. He was a member of the Church of Christ. Harold was an avid photographer and enjoyed traveling, woodworking, and building furniture. He was preceded in death his first wife, Mary Lee Bailey Metz, and a brother, Raymond Metz. He is survived by his wife, Lou Ella Johnson Metz, London; son, Robert Metz, London; three daughters, Donna Evans, London, Cheryle Sullivan, North Little Rock, Susan Poulos, Springdale; nine grandchildren, including Jordan Sullivan of North Little Rock. Funeral Service will be held at 10 a.m., Tuesday, May 31, 2016 at Humphrey Chapel, Russellville, Ark. Burial will be at the Bailey Family Cemetery in Mill Creek community by Humphrey Funeral Service.
