Sharon Denise Dowdle

Sharon Denise Dowdle, 54 of Bauxite, went to be with the Lord on November 19, 2016. She was born August 24, 1962 in Little Rock to Lowell and Joyce Elrod. Sharon was talented at many things, especially cake decorating. She enjoyed shopping and going to the race track. Sharon loved her family and was a proud wife, mother, grandmother and daughter, sister and friend. She was preceded in death by her father. Sharon is survived by her loving husband of 34 years, Alva Dowdle, son, Benjamin (Nichole) Dowdle, daughter, Vanessa (Jake) Rodgers, grandchildren, Alaric Dowdle, Ethan and Keira Vardaman, Jack and Evan Rodgers, mother, Joyce Elrod, brother, Kenny Elrod and brother in law, Morris Dowdle, a host of other relatives and friends. Graveside services will be held 1 p.m. Friday at Pine Crest Cemetery. Visitation will be 11 a.m. until 12 noon at Ashby Funeral Home before services on Friday.
