Donald Edward Barry, 74, of Little Flock, Ark., died peacefully Monday, Nov. 21, 2016 at his residence surrounded by family. He was born Nov. 15, 1942 in Chicago, Ill. the son of Florence Lorraine Poynton and Edward Jerome Barry. As a Master Sergeant in the US Air Force, he served honorably in the Vietnam War. He loved spending quality time with his family, camping, motorcycles, his dogs, teaching, and traveling. Most recently Donald had returned to his greatest passion, teaching. As a masters level educator, he worked as a substitute teacher in the Rogers Public School District. He had lived in the Northwest Arkansas area for 33 years after moving from Tucson, Ariz. Donald is preceded in death by his parents, and his wife, Terry Mae Barry. Donald is survived by: two sons, Marc Barry and his wife Belinda, of Rogers, Ark., Steve Barry and his wife Lori, of Fennimore, Wis.; one brother, David Barry and his wife Linda Price-Barry, of Phoenix, Ariz.; one sister, Mary Lynn Barry, of Eureka Springs, Ark.; four grandchildren, Hunter Barry, Ian Barry, Benjamin Barry, and Nicholas Barry. Visitation will be Saturday from 9-10 a.m. at St. Stephen Catholic Church located in Bentonville. Mass of Christian Burial will be Saturday at 10 a.m. at St. Stephen Catholic Church located in Bentonville. Arrangements by Epting Funeral Home of Bentonville.
