Heide Smotherman

Heide Layne Williams Smotherman, 36, of Rose Bud passed away Friday, Oct. 21, 2016 at her home. She was born May 3, 1980 in Searcy. Heide was the only daughter of Pamela Smith Williams and the late Edwin Dale Williams. Heide had a passion for animals which led to her career of owning and operating Uppity Pupp Pet Grooming. Heide is survived by the love of her live and husband of five years, Troy Smotherman whom she met through their mutual love of rodeo and horses which started at a very early age; her mother Pam Williams of Rose Bud; maternal grandparents, Sammie and Winnie Smith of Searcy; paternal grandfather, Willard Williams of Judsonia along with a host of family and friends. Heide was also preceded in death by her paternal grandmother Neva Dean Williams. Visitation will be 5-8 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 26, 2016. Funeral Services are 2 p.m. Thursday, at the Powell Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Mt. Pisgah Cemetery. Arrangements by Powell Funeral Home of Searcy. www.powellfuneralhome.net.
