Elizabeth Fellows Lewis

Elizabeth Fellows Lewis of McCrory, Arkansas passed away on October 27, 2016 at Baptist Hospital after a short, but serious illness. She was in the presence of family and was not in any pain. Elizabeth Fellows Lewis was born in 1951 in Newport, Arkansas to Arnold B. Fellows and Polly B. Fellows. She attended Newport High School where she was the homecoming queen, and went on to graduate from William Woods University in Fulton, Missouri. She married Fletcher C. Lewis of McCrory, Arkansas, and gave birth to a son, Fletcher E. "Buzz" Lewis II. She resided in Little Rock and McCrory, Arkansas with her husband and son, but was also involved with the Lewis family farm in McCrory, Arkansas where she was a landowner and manager. Elizabeth was involved with many volunteer activities in Little Rock including but not limited to the Junior League and Buzz's schools of Holy Souls and Little Rock Catholic High. She loved to be outdoors, hunting with Fletcher and Buzz, as well as gardening, and bird watching. Elizabeth was an incredibly kind, caring, and affectionate person who loved to laugh and made everyone around her laugh and feel at home. Elizabeth is survived by her husband, Fletcher Lewis, her son and daughter-in-law Buzz and Janelle Lewis, her brother and sister, John and Leslie Fellows, and her niece, Holly Fellows-Wilmans. Visitation will be at Thompson-Wilson Funeral Home in McCrory, Ark. on Saturday, Oct. 29 from 5-7 p.m., and graveside service will be at Fakes Cemetery (Elizabeth's personal land) in McCrory, Arkansas on Sunday, Oct. 30 at 1:30 p.m. Thompson-Wilson Funeral Directors of McCrory are in charge of the arrangements. 870-731-2551. thompsonwilsonfh.com.
