Adelfa Kirkland

Adelfa Kirkland, 61, of Greenbrier, went to be with the Lord Monday, September 5, 2016. She was born January 15, 1955 in Manila, Philippines. She is preceded in death by her parents. She was a loving, dependent wife to a U.S. Sailor, Paul Kirkland. Paul and Adelfa were married for 37 wonderful years. Adelfa was a loving mother and housewife. Adelfa is survived by her husband; Paul Kirkland, four beautiful children; son, Joey and Kathy Mendoza, daughter, Christina and Brent Luyet, daughter, Stephanie and Ryan Dela-Cruz, and son, Paul Kirkland II., seven grandchildren Carlos and Carmella Mendoza, Ally and Parker Mendoza, Gabby, Danielle and Luke Luyet and two sisters Cora Day and Christina Ortilliano. Visitation will be held at Roller-McNutt in Greenbrier Thursday, September 8th from 6 to 8 p.m. Services will be held at Bethlehem Baptist Church September 9th at 1 p.m. with Pastor Derek Jones officiating. Burial will follow in Bethlehem Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Bobby Rhodes, Ja'alan Windom, Sean Canady, Brad Hays, Jeremiah Johnson and Alexander Desantiago.
