David Charles DeLess

David Charles DeLess , age 56, of Crossett, Ark., passed away on Sept. 7, 2016. He was born on Aug. 6, 1960 in Eureka, Calif. to his parents, Bruce and Betty Hoyt DeLess. David worked for Piggly Wiggly for many years before working in maintenance for the City of Crossett and finally as custodian at the First United Methodist Church. He was a member of First United Methodist Church. He was preceded in death by his father, Bruce C. DeLess. Survivors include his mother, Betty DeLess; his brother, Mark C. DeLess (Sharon) and his sister, Candace Ann Jeffress (Jimmy), all of Crossett, Ark.; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and many friends. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Monday, Sept. 12, 2016 at the First United Methodist Church with Dr. Russell Moore officiating. Interment will follow at Pinewood Memorial Park under the direction of Jones Funeral Home of Crossett, Ark., (www.jonesservice.com). Visitation will be held from 1-2 p.m. on Monday prior to the service. Memorials may be made to the First United Methodist Church, 500 Main Street, Crossett, Ark. 71635.
