Reba Margaret Ashcraft (Wasson) Smith

Reba Margaret Ashcraft (Wasson) Smith, 94 of Mabelvale, Arkansas passed away on September 11, 2016. She was born in Monticello, Arkansas on January 26, 1922. She is preceded in death by Joe Wasson Sr. and Arthur (Smitty) Smith. She is survived by her six children: Joe Wasson (Gail), Mabelvale, Arkansas; Roy Wasson (Linda) Texarkana, Arkansas; Wayne Smith (Illine) Hensley, Arkansas; Charles Wasson (Fran) Mabelvale, Arkansas; Wandra Lawson, Collierville, Tennessee; and Brenda Jackson (Robert) Gulfport, Mississippi. She was blessed with 22 grandchildren; 44 great-grandchildren; 14 great-great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. She is also survived by one brother, Richard Ashcraft (Ruth) of Sulphur Rock, Arkansas. Margaret loved life: fishing, ceramics, sewing, gardening, crafts and spending time with family. She had the knack to accept ANYONE who came through her door and make them "Family". Your wings were ready but our hearts were not. SHE IS HOME now, smiling right next to GOD. Funeral services will be held at 11:30 a.m., Wednesday, September 14, 2016 at Roller-Drummond Funeral Home, 10900 Interstate 30, Little Rock, Arkansas 72209 (501) 455-5800. Burial to follow at Salem Cemetery, East End community. Pallbearers will be her grandsons. Family will receive friends at 10:30 a.m., prior to the service at the funeral home.
